ADELAIDE AIRPORT: Introduces Valet parking
For the first time, Valet Parking is available for travellers flying out of Adelaide Airport.
Qantas customers used to be able to use a valet service provided by the airline up until 2020, when the pandemic put paid to that.
“Our new valet at Adelaide Airport will offer a convenient service and excellent value for our customers. Simply pull up out the front of our southern entrance, hand your keys to the valet attendant and head upstairs for your flight.”
Brenton Cox, Adelaide Airport Managing Director
The new service will be available to all airport customers from 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., seven days a week, every day of the year. It will cover the first check-in of the morning through to the last arrival in the evening.
The service is provided by First Class Valet, a national operator with experience providing valet services for venues and major events.
Cost
The drive-up rate per day will be AU$85, with a discount for multi-day stays. Seven-day bookings will set you back AU$345 for drive-ups, with lower rates for those who pre-book online. For even longer bookings, Valet will work out cheaper than parking in the short-term car park at the terminal.
Cars will be parked securely in an outdoor parking area with a current capacity of 270 vehicles. Should demand increase, there are options to increase capacity.
The Airport’s multi-story covered car park is reaching capacity, so plans are afoot for additional outdoor parking

Adelaide Airport has been undergoing a series of improvements of late. Valet Parking seems to be the latest.
This will be of great convenience to all those who wish to leave a car at the airport while they jet off elsewhere. My only misgiving is the lack of undercover storage of the current plans. Adelaide weather can be extreme. It may not have the regular hail storms of Sydney, but that South Australian sun can be bad for the duco.
