AIR CHINA: You too can be Nancy Pelosi. Taiwan open after 12 September, but with 3 day quarantine

3+4 restrictions
On arrival after a PCR test you will need to stay 3 days in a designated quarantine hotel, and then self-monitor for 4 days, using RATs (rapid antigen tests).
Flights opening up
Taiwan’s China Airlines, EVA Air and Starlux are all ready to increase their international flights. Monitor for potential bargains!
Commentators don’t see Taiwan opening up any more than this ‘3+4’ regime, for vaccinated travellers, well at least not until 2023 anyway

This is another timely reminder to wear your seatbelt when seated. Holding you close to your seat will protect you from the sort of injuries sustained on this flight, when unsecured passengers flew to the ceiling of the aircraft, and then came crashing down once the ‘drop’ ceased.
The hope will be that this is an anomaly – a ‘freak accident’ in casual parlance. If it is a systemic error either mechanical or electronic, then this is a larger concern for the airlines that fly Boeing Dreamliner 787 aircraft. Let’s hope it isn’t. If it is, it will pile on the woes to Boeing’s existing stack.
Time to head to Taiwan I think. It’s a country that’s been on my list, and I’d like to visit before I can’t. The question is will I get an award that involves a blue sash Like Nancy?
