Singapore Airlines: New Changi T3 lounges open
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has unveiled its all-new SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3. With a price tag of S$50 million for the re-design, upgrade, and expansion of the lounges. Just as international travel is on the rise, Singapore lounges will be ready.
The new The Private Room has a capacity for 78 Suites and First Class travellers and includes booth seats and day rooms for work and rest. The Private Room also has a full fine dining restaurant.
Below are some images of the exclusive First Class lounge, The Private Room, with more information to come:

This is another timely reminder to wear your seatbelt when seated. Holding you close to your seat will protect you from the sort of injuries sustained on this flight, when unsecured passengers flew to the ceiling of the aircraft, and then came crashing down once the ‘drop’ ceased.
The hope will be that this is an anomaly – a ‘freak accident’ in casual parlance. If it is a systemic error either mechanical or electronic, then this is a larger concern for the airlines that fly Boeing Dreamliner 787 aircraft. Let’s hope it isn’t. If it is, it will pile on the woes to Boeing’s existing stack.
I had the privilege to visit the old The Provide Room, and I loved the clubby atmosphere and the spacious private dining area. I love this new clean more ‘scandi’ – mid-century look, but not sure that it has as much personality as the old area, despite it being dated. Maybe it takes a visit to make that decision. Anyway – here are some images from the old The Private Room for you to compare.
