COVID-19: New Zealand resumes travel bubble with Australia
The suspension of the New Zealand travel bubble ends this afternoon (Sunday 31 January 2021). That means New Zealanders can travel to Australia without quarantine for 14 days. Mind you don’t be surprised if there isn’t a change for Kiwi’s heading to Perth.
The bubble was suspended about a week ago for 3 days, and then extended for a further 3 as a result of 2 cases of community transmission in Auckland out of travel quarantine.
Australia’s suspension of the New Zealand travel bubble will end on Sunday afternoon, meaning Kiwis will be able to resume travelling to Australia without quarantining.
