Qantas: Points redemption changes – 18 September – last chance to book at the old rate

Remember, way back in June Qantas CEO Alan Joyce announced the ‘the biggest change in 32 years‘ ? Well, some of those changes take effect next week.
Depending on your view, the most important changes to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program come into play next week – that is, changes that increase the points required for premium cabin redemptions take effect from 18 September.
Lower-priority changes are still to be rolled out over the next nine months or so. However, some of the most important—increases in pricing for premium cabin and round-the-world redemptions—come into effect on 18 September.
Time to get onto it if you still want to ‘cash’ in some points at the old rates – which you can find here.
